En esta pieza quise capturar el espíritu de la iguana, una criatura que se siente tanto ancestral como mística, llena de una sabiduría silenciosa. Los colores vibrantes reflejan la energía intensa del trópico: el sol, la tierra y la vida que late en todo su alrededor.
Blue Wanderer nació de la inspiración que me dieron las iguanas que solía ver descansando junto a la alberca en San Remo Privada. Su presencia tranquila, sus colores intensos y sus movimientos lentos y firmes me dejaron una impresión profunda. Para crear el fondo, utilicé hojas reales que recolecté del suelo en los jardines de Bali 2 Residence -nada fue arrancado, solo lo que la naturaleza ya había dejado caer. Las acomodé cuidadosamente y las pinté con aerosol sobre un panel de madera, permitiendo que las texturas naturales formaran parte de la historia.
Firme y audaz, la iguana en esta obra representa el crecimiento personal y el poder de la reinvención. Es un tributo a la selva, a escuchar con profundidad y a honrar lo que vino antes mientras se abraza lo que está por venir. Perfecta para quienes están atravesando un cambio o dando un nuevo comienzo.

In this piece, I wanted to capture the spirit of the iguana, a creature that feels both ancient and mystical, full of quiet wisdom. The vibrant colors reflect the intense energy of the tropics: the sun, the earth, the life that pulses all around.
Blue Wanderer was inspired by the iguanas I often saw lounging near the pool in San Remo Privada. Their calm presence, striking colors, and slow, grounded movements left a lasting impression. To create the background, I used real leaves I gathered from the grounds of Bali 2 Residence - nothing picked live, only what had already fallen. I carefully arranged and spray painted them onto a wood panel, allowing nature’s textures to become part of the story.
Bold and unyielding, the iguana in this piece represents personal growth and the power of reinvention. It's a tribute to the jungle, to listening deeply, and to honoring what has come before while embracing what’s ahead. Perfect for those navigating change or stepping into new beginnings.
