This painting was inspired by the macaws I saw at Xcaret Park in Playa del Carmen, Mexico.
I loved watching how they leaned into each other, playful and gentle, showing affection without a single word.
It reminded me of being close to someone you love – when you can let your guard down, rest your head on their shoulder, and feel at home.

I paint the wild, and the feeling of being close to it.
Based in Playa del Carmen, Mexico, I create colorful, layered paintings inspired by animals and the natural world around me.
My process often begins with real leaves, spray paint and experimentation. From those first marks, each animal slowly finds its place within the painting.
